Our Vision

Note Distinction is a music education organization that seeks to teach the beauty of music in many of its aspects. Through the use of online recorded courses Note Distinction brings the learning to you!

The motivation for Note Distinction comes from the idea that the beauty of music can be understood through experience and direction from a skilled teacher. This concept of “distinction in notes” stems from a Biblical passage

“Even in the case of lifeless things that make sounds, such as the pipe or harp, how will anyone know what tune is being played unless there is a distinction in the notes?” -I Cor. 14:7

Note Distinction classes are a wonderful way to learn music from the comfort of your home or home-school environment. We present a way to grow in the understanding of the purposes and meaning of music, using a practical and personal approach.

Our Vision at Note Distinction is to train young musicians in many aspects of musical purpose, while enforcing a positive and true worldview. It is vital that musical understanding be informed by an objective understanding of its purposes: This way students will be able to make positive decisions in their musical lives as they grow into maturity.
